FAQ
Who attends PLS?
PLS welcomes everyone involved in managing and organizing health networks and in transforming primary care and front-line care. Politics, the public network, industry and the community sector are all represented. Each year, nearly 2,000 professionals, managers, leaders and decision-makers from across the country take part.
I don't consider myself a decision-maker. Is PLS for me?
Yes. The network moves forward thanks to those who care, innovate and commit, not only those who make decisions. At PLS, we give you a voice. You can speak up, discover new solutions, take the floor and think directly alongside decision-makers. You influence the discussions, meet people who can support your projects and bring them a perspective they do not always have.
How can I meet a specific person at PLS?
At PLS, barriers come down. Ministers mingle with health professionals and industry, and experts sit beside you. On site, exchanges are natural, and you often meet the right people between sessions or during a break. To go further, the PLS app lets you find who is attending and plan your meetings before the event. CONNECT PLS is the meeting point where you set up times to meet during PLS.
What sets PLS apart from other health conferences?
The quality of its audience. This audience creates a level of mobilization rarely seen elsewhere. Ideas do not stay on stage: they turn into collaborations, projects and action. It is the place to present a project, an innovation or to take a first step into a new market. Everything happens in person, which makes exchanges direct and relationships lasting. Several participants estimate that two days at PLS equal 3 to 6 months of outreach.
Can I speak or propose a topic?
Yes. The PLS call for speakers runs every year from December 1, 2026 to February 12, 2027. You can submit up to two topics. To suggest a forum or collaboration idea outside the call for speakers, write to us at info@productionsplakett.ca.
Is PLS offered online?
No. PLS events are designed to foster lasting relationships and take place in person only.
What happens between two conferences?
The PLS community stays active all year. It gathers in forums, in thematic days such as PLS Pharmacy Day, in the PLS Leaders Podcast and in Beyond PLS content. The newsletter and our social media keep you informed of upcoming gatherings.
How do I register, and can I transfer my ticket
Registration is online, from our event pages. If you can no longer attend, you can transfer your ticket to someone else through the PLS app, a bit like a show ticket.
